NEW YORK — Accounting and advisory firm Berdon LLP earned the accolades of its peers — winning an award for the best Video and Multimedia Program (with budget of less than $10,000) for its 2MO (Two Minutes On…) short video program. The award was announced May 5, 2016, at the Association of Accounting Marketing Summit held in New Orleans, a three-day event of hundreds of accounting marketers from around the country.
“I’m very proud of what was a concerted effort of our entire marketing team,” says Co-CMO Kayte Steinert-Threlkeld. “Our objective was to create a program of short videos on hot topics that would differentiate the Firm in the marketplace and reflect the expertise of our partners.”
Berdon’s video initiative has been well-received by the Firm’s clients and prospects. The videos are pushed via email, featured on the Firm’s website, and housed on Berdon’s YouTube channel. Berdon utilizes MultiVision Digital of New York as its video producer.
“We’re very pleased with the feedback both internally and externally and proud that the firm has been recognized by accounting industry colleagues,” says Managing Partner Mark Bosswick, CPA, J.D., LL.M.
This year’s award was the second the Firm has received in three years. The Firm also received an award for its Integrated Branding Program in 2014, which involved the development of a new logo, tagline, website, and all collateral material.
The Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) provides resources and support to more than 800 CPA and consulting firm marketing and sales professionals, partners, firm administrators, and representatives of businesses who offer products and services to the accounting industry.
